Make films from your AI assistant
Connect KitCut to Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Meta AI or Claude Code, and ask for a film in the chat. Claude writes, draws, narrates and scores it in code, from your idea and your pictures, and you get a finished video with its own page.
https://kitcut.ai/mcpThis is KitCut's MCP server address. Your assistant asks you to sign in to KitCut once (Google, or a code by email), and then it can make films with your account's credits. New accounts get free credits for a first film.
Connect it
Claude (claude.ai, the desktop app, and mobile)
- Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it KitCut, paste
https://kitcut.ai/mcp, and add it. - Click Connect, sign in to KitCut, and press Allow.
- In a chat, turn KitCut on under the tools menu and ask for a film.
On Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds the connector for the organisation first.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http kitcut https://kitcut.ai/mcpThen run /mcp, pick kitcut and sign in in the browser that opens. Claude Code can also upload pictures from your disk: ask it to use an upload link.
ChatGPT
- Find KitCut among ChatGPT's apps, or add it yourself: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode, then Create app with
https://kitcut.ai/mcpand OAuth. - Sign in to KitCut when asked and press Allow.
- Attach pictures to your message and ask for a film: ChatGPT passes them to KitCut.
Grok
- Go to grok.com → Connectors → New connector → Custom.
- Paste

Meta AI (Muse) and other apps
Any app that connects to remote MCP servers with OAuth works the same way: add https://kitcut.ai/mcp and sign in.

- “Make a 30-second hand-drawn film about a lighthouse keeper who adopts a seagull.”
- “Here's a photo of our product. Make a 20-second painted film that shows it off, in a 1950s travel-poster style.”
- “Make episode two with Pip the fox: Pip learns to swim.” (recurring characters come back by name)

Good to know
- Films take time. A film up to a minute long takes about 8–30 minutes to make; longer ones take longer, up to a couple of hours for 8 minutes. Your assistant gives you the film's link at once; the page shows it being made and then plays it.
- Credits. One credit is one second of film, and every film uses at least 30. A film that fails or that you stop gives its credits back.
- Link-only by default. Films made from an assistant are watchable by anyone with the link, but stay out of the gallery and search engines unless you ask for public.
- Pictures. ChatGPT passes pictures you attach. In Claude, add them in the film maker, give a public link, or use an upload link.
- Disconnect any assistant under “Connected assistants” on your account page.
- Films are 16:9, up to 8 minutes on Pro. Narration follows the language you write in.
