Made for you

Besides the film maker you use yourself, KitCut makes cartoon shows for families: an entire show about their kids or their pet, a dozen episodes, made from their pictures and the true things they say and do. It is a done-for-you service, separate from plans and credits: nothing is made in your account and no credits are used.

The pages are kitcut.ai/made-for-you, with one for kids and one for pets. They are where KitCut's ads on Facebook and Instagram lead, so each is built for one thing, asking: no menu and no links away, only Privacy and Terms at the foot, and they are kept out of search engines. They open on an episode playing and show episodes of one family's two real shows on their YouTube channel, Leo The Big Boy: Leo, about a four-year-old, and Duchess, about a very dignified white cat. The case study One family, two cartoon series tells how they are made.

What it costs

What From
A film: one story $2,000
A series: their own show, episode after episode, with the same characters $5,000

The price for a particular show is given by email, after KitCut has read about them. Asking costs nothing.

How it works

  1. You tell us about them. Pictures of everyone in the show, the words they say, the things they like to do and the places they like to go. Written down or as a voice note.
  2. KitCut writes and draws it. Episodes written from what you sent, and characters drawn from your pictures in a cartoon look you choose. They are drawings, not photographs or deepfakes.
  3. You approve. You see the characters and the first episode, and say what to change.
  4. It is delivered in days, not weeks. Once KitCut has the pictures and the stories, episodes come in days, and you can even have an episode a day. If you want, they can go on a YouTube channel just for your kids or your pet.

A date that matters (a birthday, Christmas) goes in the form.

Asking

Every button on the pages opens the same short form, in two steps: first your name and email address (kept as soon as you send them), then who the show is about and a few lines about them, and, if you like, whether you have a film, a series or not sure in mind. Photos come later, by email. KitCut answers by email. One address can send a few enquiries a day; after that the form says so, and [email protected] still works.

The photos and your privacy

The pictures are used only to make your show. They are never shown, and neither they nor your episodes are used in KitCut's ads or examples without asking you first. To draw the characters, the pictures are sent to the image model that draws them, as the privacy policy describes. Episodes are link-only unless you want them on a YouTube channel of their own, and the pictures are deleted when you ask.

The made-for-you pages are the only pages of KitCut that may load the Meta Pixel (for KitCut's ads on Facebook and Instagram). When it is on, it tells Meta that a page was viewed and that an enquiry was sent, never what was typed into the form. See "Our ads on Facebook and Instagram" in the privacy policy.
